Based on the fact that the Nautilus in this case is a shell and not a mob or a reference to the Nautilus submarine from "20000 Leagues Under the Sea" (like so many people were guessing/hoping, including myself), I think it's safe to say that the Nautilus map found in. Using fishing it would take 2-4 hours to get 8 shells.
